Also, Apple will introduce exciting Watch features that enhance people’s lives. This event marks the beginning of the next chapter in Apple’s incredible story. A lifestream of the event will be available on Apple’s website and Apple TV.
Apple began decorating the Yerba Buena Center today for its special Apple Watch event. The initial decorations feature the same illustration from the “Spring Forward” event invitation. Banners showcasing the unannounced products will likely be inside the venue and covered until the event ends.
The formal introduction for Apple Watch will certainly be the featured topic of the event given the device’s April launch date. Also, new ultra–thin 12 inch retina MacBook Airs could debut at the event. The “Spring Forward” event kicks off at 10:00 AM psd on March 9th.
Today, Apple invited members of the media and press to attend an event on March 9th. The event, which will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, will include the official introduction for Apple Watch. In the invitation, the “Spring forward.” tagline cleverly alludes to the Apple Watch as daylight savings time begins a day before the scheduled event. The main image of the invitation includes Apple’s traditional graphic design style with the “stem” of the Apple logo placed in a beautiful floral pattern to further suggest the springtime theme of the event.
The media event is sure to include show off all major Apple Watch features and highlight apps developers have already created for the watch. Details on pricing and availability of the three watch collections will also be a critical part of the event. Most likely, Apple will also show other products at the event. Rumors of new, thinner retina display MacBook Airs point to a possible launch at this event. The event kicks off at 10:00 AM pacific time on March 9th. Live streaming of the event will be available on Apple.com.
